You and your family and friends are invited to attend the KA in VL tailgate before the Lehigh-Dartmouth football game on Saturday, September 19. Festivities will start at 9:30 am. We have reserved a tailgate space in the grassy field between Goodman Drive and the stadium. Note that AD Jeremy Gibson moved the tailgate location this year to increase the game day energy - so bring your energy! We will have a 20-by-20-foot rental tent set up in space number 3 which is the third spot to the east of the traffic circle. See the map below. Look for our red Kappa Alpha banner.
Plan on reconnecting with fellow Kaps before the 12:00 kickoff at Lehigh’s Goodman Stadium. Your Kappa Alpha Alumni Association of Lehigh University will provide the tailgate food. You'll just need to bring your own beverages and chairs, as needed. We are providing 15 chairs and cannot guarantee seating for everyone. Per Lehigh’s rules; please do not bring any beverages in glass containers. There is no parking at the new location, so please park in the adjacent gravel or paved lots if you are physically capable of walking over to our tent. The tailgate facilities will still be available to us post-game.
Note that Lehigh has designated this football game as "Family Weekend Day".
PLEASE LET BLAIR HOGG (ppresiddent-aalumnii@kka-leehighh.orgg) KNOW IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING THE TAILGATE (with a headcount) SO THAT WE ORDER ENOUGH FOOD. Feel free to just tailgate and skip the game. Similarly, if you arrive late, you can always find a core group of Kaps sitting behind the Marching '97 in the stadium.
