Thomas Paul O’Neill, Sr, age 95, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ passed away March 5, 2023.
Tom was born December 2, 1927 in his family’s home in Ventnor, New Jersey. He attended Ventnor Avenue school and graduated from Atlantic City High School. He joined the Navy following graduation. He then attended Lehigh University, where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Society, and made his career as a stockbroker. He was married to Patricia Mary Shelton from September 4, 1948 until her death in 2010. He is predeceased by his father Paul, mother Kathryn and brothers Richard and Paul.
Tom was an avid boater and fisherman. A legacy that lives on through his children and grandchildren.
He was an active member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and was on the Board of Directors of Winchell School and Longport School and Past President of Atlantic City Rotary Club.
Tom was a devoted father to his children Patricia Joan O’Neill, Thomas Paul O’Neill, Jr, Kathryn Ann Kasprzak and Charles Paul “Kelly” O’Neill. He is also survived by his grandchildren Cristan Marzucca, Cara and Charles O’Neill, Ian and Casey O’Neill Fouts, Francis, Adam and Thomas Kasprzak and great grandchildren Henry and Emmy Fouts, Lucas and Maeve Kasprzak, Isabelle O’Neill and Jacob and Dylan Marzucca.
A private ceremony and celebration of his life will be held on May 3, 2023 in Marathon, Florida, a place that holds many fond memories for our four generations.
